Fast, Gentle, and Friendly Emergency Care
For Life’s Little Uh-Ohs and Tooth Troubles
Kids are full of energy, curiosity, and big smiles—and sometimes, those smiles run into unexpected surprises. Whether it’s a sudden toothache, a chipped tooth, or a playground tumble, Children’s Happy Teeth is here to help with fast, gentle, and friendly emergency care. We specialize in turning stressful moments into calm and confident ones with a caring touch and a smile.
A Calming, Kid-Friendly Experience
We understand that dental emergencies can feel scary, especially for little ones. That’s why we’ve created a space that feels more like a fun, welcoming place than a typical dental office.
From our warm, cheerful environment to our caring and experienced team, everything we do is focused on helping your child feel safe and supported. We explain things in simple, child-friendly terms and always move at a pace that’s right for them.
What Is a Dental Emergency?
If your child is in pain, has swelling, bleeding, or a sudden dental issue, it may be a dental emergency. Not sure? Call us. No matter how small or big it feels, we’re here to help you and your child through it. Here are some of the most common reasons parents bring their kids in for emergency care:
- Toothaches that don’t go away
- Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
- A knocked-out baby or permanent tooth
- Swollen gums or cheeks
- Injuries to the lips, tongue, or inside of the mouth
- Something stuck between teeth that can’t be removed at home
What To Do Before You Arrive
Here are a few helpful steps to take in common dental emergencies while you’re on your way to our office:
Toothache
Rinse your child’s mouth gently with warm water and check for anything stuck between teeth. You can use a cold compress on the cheek if there’s swelling. Call us so we can help you decide what’s next.
Knocked-Out Tooth
If a permanent tooth is knocked out, try to gently place it back in the socket if your child is calm. If that’s not possible, store it in milk and bring it to your appointment. Do not try to reinsert a baby tooth—just call us and come in.
Chipped or Broken Tooth
Rinse the mouth with warm water. If you can, save any broken pieces and bring them with you. Apply a cold compress to help with swelling.
Swelling or Infection
If your child’s face is swollen or they have a fever along with mouth pain, this could be a sign of an infection. Call us immediately—this type of emergency needs fast attention.
Emergency Care You Can Count On
We leave space in our schedule for dental emergencies, so if your child needs help, we’ll do our best to see them right away. And if your child is feeling anxious, we offer safe, gentle sedation options to help them feel calm and relaxed. During the visit, our goals are always the same:
- Relieve pain quickly
- Save the tooth when possible
- Reassure and comfort your child
- Get everything back to normal, fast
